Here are some reasons that you may need your blood drawn:

As part of a wellness physical (which screens for a number of different things like thyroid and metabolic issues)
If your doctor wants to check your cholesterol levels
To test for diabetes
To see if you have allergies to foods or any other substances
To check for the Mono or Epstein-Barr virus
To find out if you have a vitamin or mineral deficiency
Even if you have to come back for the draw, such as when you are required to fast for more accurate results, at least you can come back to a location that you are familiar with and comfortable in. No going to a lab where you’re just another person waiting for a blood draw. Here, you’re family.
